The training aims to provide industry practitioners with a fundamental understanding of pump systems and their components, as well as the electrical, mechanical and hydraulic principles that govern their operation. At the end of the training, participants will be equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to assess an organization’s pump system and to recommend opportunities for enhancing energy efficiency and to optimize the processes.
Application deadline: 10 April 2025
Nearly all electrical energy consumed by industry is used by the millions of electrical motors installed worldwide. Responsible for driving both core industrial processes as well as auxiliary systems such as compressed air generation, ventilation and water pumping, motors are critical to nearly every industry on the planet. In UNIDO’s experience, motor-system optimization can significantly reduce an individual plant’s energy consumption. Most motor optimization investments show payback times within three years.
