EnMS Forum 2025
Building a skilled workforce for industrial energy efficiency in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka’s industrial sector stands at a pivotal moment in its journey toward low-carbon growth. The EnMS Forum 2025 will bring together over 200 industry leaders, policymakers, technical experts, and international partners — including the project’s Energy Management Systems (EnMS) trainees from the 2023, 2024, and 2025 batches — to showcase the country’s progress in EnMS and chart the way forward for long-term sustainability.
Hosted by the European Union-funded Accelerating Industries’ Climate Response in Sri Lanka (AICRSL) project and implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Forum will reflect on three years of EnMS training and celebrate the achievements of a growing network of certified energy managers. These professionals are helping industries cut energy costs, lower emissions, and enhance competitiveness in global markets where low-carbon production is an advantage.
Forum Highlights
The programme will feature reflections on the AICRSL EnMS journey, industry case studies demonstrating real-world energy savings, expert discussions on global best practices, and policy updates from the Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority. A special “EnMS Clinic” will provide participants with direct access to expert advice on technical, operational, and regulatory challenges.
The event will also include the certificate ceremony for the 2024 EnMS batch, marking another milestone in building a skilled workforce to drive industrial energy efficiency in Sri Lanka.
