Expert Training: Solar PV System 2025

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) is pleased to announce the Call for Applications to participate in its Expert Training Programme on Solar PV System Design.

Why should you consider the Solar PV training?
Solar PV training is a worthwhile consideration due to the growing demand for solar energy professionals, the financial and environmental benefits of solar power, and the potential for career advancement in a rapidly expanding industry. Completing a solar PV training program can equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar PV systems, making them valuable assets in the renewable energy sector.
What can you expect from the Solar PV training?
Solar PV design training equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to design, implement, and optimize PV systems. Participants can expect to learn about the technical aspects of solar PV, including system components, electrical and mechanical design, site assessment, and energy production estimation. The training also covers practical aspects like complying with regulations, obtaining permits, and monitoring system performance.
Who will lead the course and when will it take place?

Through a series of in-person interactions over a 2-month period, participants will be guided through the course by UNIDO National Renewable Energy Expert.

What is the training schedule?

In 2025 we will accept 45 participants for the 2-day User Level training, and 30 candidates will move forward to the 2-day Expert Level training. Training will be delivered according to the following tentative schedule:
